The Swain Gardens

One of Ku-ring-gai's most idyllic public gardens. Covering three hectares, Swain Gardens were bequeathed to the Ku-ring-gai community and features rose & English style gardens and a rhododendruon walk adjoins a rainforest reserve. The Gardens are managed as community land by the Council and supported by the Friends of Swain Gardens, a group of local volunteers.

Visitor Comments

When I was a child, I lived near the garden, and I (basically) grew up in it. We caught lots of tadpoles in the creek, and explored the nearby bush from dawn to dusk. The garden is beautiful and well worth visiting.
