PERENNIAL HILL
We commenced construction of the garden in 2001. Although we didn't have a 'master plan' we knew we'd be able to create an interesting garden due to the slope of the 1 acre block.

Visitor Comments

We traveled from Canberra just to visit this garden as we had heard that it was worth a visit. It certainly was! There were so many 'ooh' and 'aah' moments. Plans have already been made to return in Spring.

...only wish that this beautiful garden was open until Sunday April 8! Our group always travel the distance to the Southern Highlands to visit Bundanoon is Brigadoon (always on a Saturday). We are always dismayed that so very few locals ignore the influx of visitors to the area...who have a free Sunday...and would LOVE to see more gardens/village fetes/Sunday Markets in the area.

We visited this garden at the end of our day trip to the Southern Highlands last weekend and were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. There were many flower varieties which we didn't expect to be flowering at this time of year being early Autumn. My wife found a variety of flower that she has never seen in Australia before since arriving here over 30 years ago. She had only seen this flower previously in her native Japan. The summer borders section of the garden was particularly impressive and I was amazed how the owners were able to shape a cherry tree into the form of a dome shaped enclosure. I look forward to a visit in Spring to see its seasonal transformation. The odd native bi

I visited about 2 weeks ago and the garden looked ithe best I have ever seen it. There was so much out in bloom and it all looked very lush in spite of the hot summer. Feb/March are great months to visit this lovely garden. Congratulations to the owners!

What a great garden! The flowers were in full bloom even in early March. We came to the Southern Highlands expecting only some flowers to be in bloom, but there was a huge variety of colour. Wonderful for my 10 and 7 year old girls, who enjoyed hunting for the fairies, rabbits and pixies!
