Oak Lawn

The old oak trees dominate the north-western aspect from the house; the 'bones' particularly beautiful in winter.

Shrub rose garden in spring

Shrub roses and perennials are visible from the house across a large lawn area. Mountains form a back drop.

Cottage garden in spring

An intimate small garden is entered via the Oaks. A tall hedge protects from Westerly gales - a slit in the hedge allows long distance views over the farm and countryside.

Pond in summer mist

The large pond is beautiful and moody. It is visited frequently by various duck and is the main view from the house kitchen.

Visitor Comments

Evidence of careful planning and many years labouring-with-love. Very beautiful.
