Physical and social isolation and beautiful weather has sent many of us out into the garden to enjoy the magic of growing things and just pottering about in the sunshine. Our band of hardy garden owners have been pruning, weeding, fertilising, planting and mulching ready for your enjoyment at this year's Alexandra Open Gardens weekend planned for October 24 - 25. We already have 10 gardens lined up for you, four in Alexandra and six out-of-town. Each will bring its own delights for you!

Supporting our community

Funds raised from the Open Gardens Weekend are contributed to local projects and groups. For many years, the Alexandra Open Gardens have provided support to projects that improve our community. These range from landscaping parks, our hospital, residential facilities for the elderly and schools. We also support arts projects, the Country Fire Authority and much more.
