MOLLIE SAVELL AWARD best use of Colour;

The Mollie Savell Memorial Award for Best use of Colour in Floral Art was created in recognition of the late Mollie's contribution to the Society. She was a much loved and deeply respected Life Member referred to as A Living Treasure at the 150 Anniversary in 2012. She contributed tirelessly over many decades both as a Committee Member, accredited Judge and mentor to many, renowned for her outstanding horticultural knowledge and floral art skills. Mollie was always passing on her talents and enthusiasm to all but especially to the younger generation to 'Keep the Dream Alive'. She was well known in the Camellia World as 'The Queen of Camellias' for her skills, unfailing commitment to camellia research and again, mentoring all ages.
