Moments of magic in the most memorable gardens

Operating for only four days per week over two weeks, no two days in the same week are repeated. Join us for all four days in a single week and you will experience different gardens daily and enjoy lunch in four different locations. Tours return to Karwarra at the end of each day to a glass of wine and hors-d'oeuvres before guests retire to their own accommodation or make their way home.

Meet your Botanical guides

Eddie Wasbutzki is the current head gardener of the historically significant Beechmont Gardens in Olinda, a garden guide with Botanica, and also looks after his own 2-acre garden in Emerald. A passionate gardener and plant expert, Eddie's career spans more than 35 years in both the floristry and nursery industries, including the establishment of the Lone Hydrangea Florist & Nursery in Hawthorn and 16 years at Cloudehill Nursery.
Eddie's knowledge of the Dandenong Ranges gardens and its flora is exceptional. As he escorts you through exquisite secret gardens, Eddie will inspire you by sharing his passion for plants.

Margi Petzke - A passionate plantswoman, Margi had a great love of gardens and gardening long before she studied Horticulture at the renowned Burnley College in Melbourne. Her past horticultural employment has included Lecturer in Horticultural Therapy, Teacher in Vocational Skills in Horticulture, along with Garden Coordination and Selection for Open Gardens Australia. She has been the Activities Coordinator for Plant Trust for 8 years and continues to garden on properties in her local area while tending her own 1.5 acre garden in her limited spare time
