Be enthused and entranced by the beautiful award-winning gardens of TALL TIMBERS in all their splendour. Enjoy the natural bush setting with many exotic trees and shrubs around water features such as a creek, cascade and ponds - the inspiration of owner Olwyn who was the state winner of the ABC Gardener of the Year award. We suggest you allow 2 hours to view the garden.

As you enter the property along the driveway you are greeted with an array of spring flowering garden shrubs, plants and eucalyptus trees providing the correct balance for the two peak seasons to view the garden.
At the front of the property is this lake and island providing the perfect place to take those reflection photos of the spring tints that surround it on all sides. There is a bridge to the island so you can cross over there to enhance your view of the garden. Adjacent to the lake is an extensive array of ferns mixed with paperbark trees lining the creek you will definitely want to explore.
Midway in the property is this large dam flanked with European deciduous trees (pictured) and a collection of spruce/fur tree varieties planted to complement each other in colour, shape and size. The dam is fed by a creek flowing through the property that has been cleverly used to create a host of water features throughout the extensive gardens. This dam also has an island connected by a bridge for you to explore or just sit and enjoy at your leisure.
Pictured is the back of the main dam looking toward the island containing a seat for you to relax and take in the ambience. Look out for a large variety of toadstools you can usually find on the island.
