Gardivalia Festival of Gardens

Gardivalia Festival of Gardens, showcases many different and beautiful gardens in the West Gippsland region of Warragul, Neerim South and surrounding villages and rural areas. This year we will be open in autumn instead of spring and you can see our garden information at www.gardivalia.com.au . This year we are open on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April 2024 so please put this weekend into your calendar. Each garden has different facilities and you can download our program from our website.

Acres of lakes, ponds and woods

Tall Timbers is a huge garden of many acres, lakes, ponds and bridges. Woodland areas with tree ferns, gullies, rivulets and lakes. The drive to this garden may take awhile, but the drive itself takes in stunning views. On the way you can visit Laurie Collins Sculpture Garden which is our free garden this year. He has about 60 sculptors made from recycled metal, A Gallery with Artwork and sculptors for sale.

Woods with beautiful trees and birds

Wrens Wood is an amazing garden with everything. The garden is 5 acres and it contains something of interest for every season. There are oaks, beautiful gums, maples, conifers, roses, buddlejas, rhododendrons, camellias. An extensive orchard of fruit, nut trees, and citrus trees. A vegetable and berry garden, a forest of vines and ferns, and there are orchids. Wooded areas with beautiful trees and sweeping lawns. Large covered tunnels containing thousands of orchids, some for sale. This garden is beautiful and tranquil with the bird song delighting your soul.

100 year old trees

Kirkdale and Stonehaven are next door to each other with Jenny's garden around the corner. Kirkdale Garden is a beautiful garden of 5 acres with 100 year old trees, large lawn areas and lake built in the 1990s. A mixture of styles with Japanese maples, many oak trees, conifers and natives. Wide variety of bulbs and irises. Proceeds donated to charity.
Stonehaven: Ornamental garden with stone features. Beautiful maples, natives, bulbs and roses. Autumn trees changing colour.
Jenny's Garden: Tucked away at the end of a long driveway is a 35
year old garden of mixed flowering plants and exotic trees that runs into a sloping acre of mainly native trees creating a small forest for wildlife.

2 acres Oasis

Bellissimi Alberi, Forest pansies, birches, magnolias and more. This
two acre oasis is filled with beauty, vibrancy and love.
Pathways lead to lush flower beds that daffodils, iris,
azaleas and roses share. From fragrances to colour,
this garden will capture any avid gardener's heart.
Some plants for sale. Proceeds donated to charity.

Views of rolling hills

Killara Garden: Lovely rural garden with amazing views of the rolling
hills of West Gippsland and Mt Baw Baw. Cottage
style which changes with each season. Lots of flowers,
roses, proteas, succulents, hydrangeas, camelias,
shady trees, lawn and a vegetable garden. Plant stall,
