The Edible Forest Yarra Valley are opening their forest to everyone - food lovers and gardeners alike! Permaculture inspired garden has 850 plants carefully selected with the purpose of being medicinal or edible. Weave your way through the 6 different areas including tea, wetlands, bush tucker, sensory, berry & woodlands. It will be a fun filled day with live music, beer and wine tasting, food trucks and a kids zone. Express cooking classes in our Harvest Hub and Tours of the Edible Forest.
Apart from Special Event days tours run daily Monday - Saturday at 10am and 12pm Saturdays. Bookings are essential - please see our website for more details.
Guided Edible Forest tours operate Monday-Saturday at 10am. The cost for this tour is $15 per person

Our Edible Forest is nothing like you would have experienced before-over 850 plants that are grown either for edible or medicinal purposes, planted within a one acre forest garden that supplies edible produce every day of the year.
Be guided by one of the team at Yarra Valley Estate who lovingly created the space, learn the health benefits and reasons why individual plants were selected as you meander through the 6 different areas including tea, wetlands, bush tucker, sensory, berry & woodlands.
A hosted 'Tour & Taste' offers you the experience to learn as you taste the harvest, ask questions along the way and an opportunity to find out what you can grow in your own home garden.
Tours run daily Monday - Saturday at 10am and 12pm Saturdays. Bookings are essential.

The HARVEST HUB is a little space where you can find shelves filled with jams, relishes and marinated goods; all made from items harvested from the Edible Forest.
Stop in and stock up on house made supplies to enjoy at home including inspirational books, sustainable items and delicious room sprays & soy travel candles.
The Harvest Hub is open for guests to enjoy and purchase goods.

A place where you will find unique plants, listen to the hum of the bees, watch the chooks as they scratch in their run, learn about health and wellbeing and have fun!
With something to see, smell and taste all year round, we find that the forest is at its peak October to April.
