Garden Guide

Welcome to our special garden.

Our formal cottage garden, with a sustainable feel.
As with any well designed garden, Spring is when our garden has a definite style to compliment its space and surroundings landscape, and it's why our garden work ...

Rose gardens

Our two Rose gardens are bordered by mature box hedging with an archway forming the focal points, of the front garden. The archway is full flowers. We have high Birch trees lining the path to the front door. They form the backbone to our formal cottage garden.

Plastic tunnel house

We grow from seed our own seasonal vegetables and salad crops in our large poly tunnel. We're happy to give seed sowing talks and advice on this productive part of our garden.

Marilyn's 'A collection of poppies'

Throughout the spring and summer Marilyn is in the garden painting many garden scenes, here is an example of her work.
Marilyn will have her art work on exhibition on the open garden days, most of her flower work has been painted in our garden .

Spring summer the birch trees

As seen in this picture our over head clematis continues to flow and flower all through the roof of our garden. It's journey begins in the front gardens and travels around our garden. Spectacular through the passageway into the back veranda through spring and summer. Adding style to our garden all year round.
The roof of our garden. Notice the birch trees planted each side of the pathway , form the backbone of the front garden.

Visitor Comments

This is very good news. I have visited this marvelous garden in the past, and was hoping it would again be available for visiting. As I recall, the design accomnodates a wide variety of ornamental plantings, perfectly highlighted and separated by an inspired mix of lawn, hedges, pots and walkways. Truly a magical place of harmony and intelligent design. Can't wait to visit again
