Balgowan Historic Garden

A large park-like garden of historic significance with massive trees dating from 1878 and evolving ever since. Mature Bunya Bunya, Hoop Pine, Sequoia Giganteum, Moreton Bay Fig, Magnolia Grandiflora, Tulip, Linden, Stone Pines , Elms, Monkey Puzzle, Ginkgo, Angophora and many Cedars and Oaks. An old croquet lawn. Crab Apple and Chestnut walks. Camellia and Hornbeam hedges have been added recently. Extensive views to the Tarago Reservoir and Mt Baw Baw. Picnickers welcome.
