Cruden Farm is the beloved former home of Dame Elisabeth Murdoch. More than eighty years in the making and the heart of a working farm, the garden has been carefully shaped and loved by Dame Elisabeth, and for over 45 years - Michael Morrison. From the iconic lemon-scented gum drive through to the scented Picking Garden and Ornamental Lake, Cruden Farm offers an escape from surrounding suburbia.

Opening Times

Cruden Farm is open Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and once a month on a Sunday.From Saturday 2nd January 2021, Cruden Farm will be open throughout January from Wednesday to Sunday (excluding public holidays) and will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.We welcome visitors between 10 am and 4 pm

A wonderful garden to visit - I especially love the old walled gardens, the huge old trees screening the house in the big turning circle, and the curving drive with its lemon-scented gums - all originally the work of noted landscape designer Edna Walling around 1930.
