Guided Garden Tours

Glenrock Gardens is an award-winning country garden set in the high country of New England in the historic town of Tenterfield. The 10-acre gardens are spectacular in all of the four well-defined seasons.

If you are looking to book a garden tour for your bus or garden group, please get in touch. Please goto our website and click on 'Enquire Here.'

Group Garden Tour Includes:
- A personalised guided walking tour throughout the gardens with one of the owners lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours.
- A backup wet weather meeting location overlooking the gardens.
- Access to Glenrock Gardens and its facilities (ie. disabled, male & female toilets)
- A nursery filled with hard-to-find, old-fashioned, perennials and shrubs where you can purchase plants of choice. (you can also see the plants insitu in the gardens and place an order for those that are not already available in the nursery).
- Identification of many bird species throughout the garden and also including the many varied water birds.
- If needed, we can assist those less mobile with a golf buggy, which can access most areas of the garden. This would have to be pre-arranged and completed separately from the walking tour.

Timing:
Your entire visit will likely last approximately 3-4 hours.
'Glenrock Gardens' are rather large and so we recommend an approximate time period of 1-2 hours, but if your garden lovers like to take their time, 3 hours can easily slip by. Of course, sensible shoes, a hat and an umbrella (for inclement weather) are recommended.

Price:
Guided Garden Tour: $22 per person.
(Minimum group size is 10 people)

Visitor Comments

We with some friends from BALLINA visited Glenrock Garden the first weekend of opening. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit especially the beautiful morning tea. What a beautiful tranquil setting with all its different rooms. A credit to the family. Keep up the great work. We have recommended it to a lot of people. Cheers Di
