Established in 1965, the Golden Memories Museum is a large complex of 8 buildings. It is located near the centre of the village and has become an integral part of village life, strongly supported by volunteers and visited by people from all over Australia and the world.
This wonderful museum has plenty to see and do for all ages - including interactive displays and spotto for children.
And, for the Garden Ramble weekend added features will be a display of historic gardening tools and implements, plus vases from our past.
With open grounds, established trees and lawns the simple easy care gardens display masses of bulbs, sculptures and yard art - there is plenty for all to enjoy.

'Eidolia Park' is a 15 acre garden commenced in 2006. The garden has now reached a level of maturity which gives a different dimension to it. Those who have visited the garden in earlier years will notice many changes.
The conifers, maples, ashes, pears, crabapples and other exotic trees provide a dramatic background for the extensive plantings of shrubs, perennials, ground covers and bulbs. The large plantings of roses and iris provide a riot of colour in spring. The garden also has a number of water features featuring Japanese Koi.
Eidolia Park is a garden of year round interest but the iris are at their best in October/November. Lus-Ealain Iris Nursery will have a stall at the garden and will be selling Tall Bearded and Pacific Coast Iris at reduced prices for Ramble visitors.
There is plenty of seating available. Also, there are places to enjoy a picnic lunch or morning or afternoon tea.

Millthorpe, a heritage listed village, is added to by its vibrant garden culture created by residents. For 20 years now, the Garden Ramble Committee has called out for volunteers, and each year there are over 100 volunteers involved, to present visitors with a well organised, welcoming to all event.
Each year, the Ramble committee also calls for property owners to open their garden to the public. An extraordinary fact is that this small village has had 120 different gardens opening their gates over the years.
We look forward to welcoming visitors to our 20th annual Ramble. In our 20th year we have some old favourites as well as some new to Ramble gardens. Enjoy!

In 2005 the Millthorpe Village Committee began negotiations with the Blayney Shire Council and State Railways to establish a community park on land that had been largely unused, except as a rubbish dumping ground, since the railway underpass was built in 1876, and the road to Forrest Reefs had been redirected.
Blayney Shire Council supported the project and supplied the large rocks that define the garden from the old Millthorpe Airport site just to the east of the village. ANL became a sponsor and assisted with mulch, compost, sleepers and gravel.
The first working bee was held early in 2008. The site was bare and rubbish had to be removed. The Millthorpe Garden Ramble and the Millthorpe Village Committee have over the years supplied funds for various projects and the work has been undertaken by volunteers at numerous working bees over 11yrs.
Mill Green today is a much loved park, and some of the trees, seats and table are dedicated to significant people from our village.

Developed over 20 years the garden at 3 George Street is certainly one for the birds. Every tree and shrub on the property, except for the 80 year old radiata pine at the front gate, has been planted by the owners Mark and Sandra Logan.
With Mark's devotion to Australian natives and their South African relatives, and Sandra's desire to see a few of her exotic favourites scattered through the beds, the garden surrounding the eco-home is a quirky blend of plants that compete for your attention, and the available resources.
The garden is alive with lizards and birds as they take advantage of the dense shrubs and leaf litter to find food and shelter from the local currawongs and magpies.
Out the back Mark's productive garden is designed to not look like a vegetable garden but more like a garden that you can cook from.
