Crew Garden This years visitors will be amazed at the number of new plants on display. Our focus this year has been to increase the variety of understory plantings. We have collections of begonias, aroids, eupohorbias, calatheas, orchids and zingibers. Other plantings include over 50 species of heliconias, ornamental gingers, frangipanis, bromeliads, cliveas, anthuriums, bamboo and over 100 rare palms. There is also a cut flower farm, subtropical orchard, vegies and other edibles.

Note: We are between Ballina and Alstonville , off Uralba Road. The estate sign says Forest Hills. We are at the end of Platypus Drive in the cul de sac.Please park along Platypus drive, leaving the neighbours driveways unobstructed.

Anthuriums and aroids

One segment of the mandala is our aroid collection, with anthurium species and cultivars, philodendrons, alocasias, monsteras, aglonemas, diffenbachias and caladiums. These make a wonderful show of flowers and foliage.

Balinese Birdbath and Semicircle garden

The is a beautiful feature against the nearby bamboo backdrop, and serves as a centrepiece for the collections of aroids, begonias, crucifix orchids and euphorbias.

A quiet location with lots to keep any gardener interested. The heliconias were in full bloom last year, as were curcumas and anthuriums. Some really spectacular displays and well stocked sales benches fairly priced. And of course delightful hosts. Cheers James (Lismore)
